THE Juddmonte International looks destined to live up to its billing as the best race in the world after a galaxy of stars featured among the ten confirmations for Wednesday’s Group 1 at York.
The mouthwatering clash between Investec Derby hero Golden Horn and dual 2,000 Guineas winner Gleneagles was given the go-ahead on Tuesday and further strength is added by the presence of Time Test and The Grey Gatsby.
Also in the reckoning for the International, which has been given top ranking by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, are Criterion, Mahsoob, The Corsican, Cougar Mountain and Arabian Queen.
Free Eagle and Intilaaq were among those missing from the list of contenders, but Golden Horn’s trainer John Gosden has supplemented possible pacemaker Dick Doughtywylie at a cost of £75,000.
Aidan O’Brien is responsible for nine of the 13 horses to go forward for the same card’s Betway Great Voltigeur Stakes.
Glorious Goodwood winner Tashaar has been added to the Voltigeur by trainer Richard Hannon and owners Al Shaqab Racing at a cost of £15,000.

After time alert!!!
I've lost 3 x £10 so far and haven't even been close.
Hanagan twice and he's been terrible, including picking the wrong horse of the owners in the last.

That's the one wrighty, but Charlton doesn't have a great record here so going for slightly bigger odds with Dobbs being the best jockey on the course.

Well that's unusual then.
I know of bookies that will pay an extra place for select clients if asked but that's like 4 places in the Cheltenham Gold Cup or similar non handicaps but 3 places in a 7 runner race without non runners is strange.

Bet fair exchange (unless it has recently changed it's rules) pays 3 places in 7 runner races where there was 1 or more non - runners in an original race card field of 8 or more runners.

If you get the chance watch Ruby's ride down under in the Aus' Grand National... what a race that was... worth it just for the commentary alone!!
The G1 Whitney at saratoga was a hell of a race as well... three massive players that will take on American Pharoah in the Breeders Cup Classic... exciting times
